The artistic lineage of Mac J began simple and profound: a third-grade art assignment centered on the self-portrait. What started as an early fascination evolved into a lifelong practice of keeping sketchbooks and filling the margins of class notes with drawings. This foundational curiosity expanded as she intentionally experimented with various mediums through high school and college, developing a versatile artistic vocabulary. Entering her post-collegiate chapter, Mac formalized her dedication to the craft, establishing her online presence to share her original paintings, prints, and structural sculptures with the world. Throughout every phase of life, art has remained Mac’s unwavering constant and purest form of communication; an intimate mirror where she is vividly reflected in every piece she creates. Which were recently selected to be a part of the 'We Gonna Be Alright' Art Exhibition in Brooklyn, New York.
